Business Networking Lunch

E3 Consulting was proud to sponsor JCI Southampton’s business networking lunch at Pitcher and Piano, in Ocean Village, on Friday 8th August 2014. The business networking lunch featured open networking before continuing to a casual sit down lunch. There was a fantastic turnout of 45 people attending which added to the success of the day.

The event was held in support of local charity, U Support which helps those who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from a life limiting condition and part of the admission will be donated to them. Co-founder Adam Gregory who started the charity in 2003 will be at the event.

There was a raffle, in aid of the charity, with prizes which included:

• A Ticket to the JCI Southampton: Sea City Gala on 13th September (£45)
• Bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne donated by Pitcher and Piano Southampton (£40)
• Bottle of Lanson® Black Label Brut Champagne donated by E3 Consulting (£30)
• Tickets for a family to the Sea City Museum (£25)
• Cinema Tickets from Harbour Lights (£19)
• Cream teas for two from new coffee shop Mettricks (£9)

The event raised a grand total for £350 for U Support. This was from a combination of the ticket sales, E3 Consulting’s sponsorship and all the money raised from the raffle.

The lunch was a great networking opportunity across a range of sectors and ages. The event welcomed people from all professions, including Solicitors, Surveyors, Accountants and Tax Specialists, Local Business Owners and Entrepreneurs, from all stages in their careers. The event was open to students and was a fantastic chance for everyone to engage with local charities and communities. The JCI are hoping to hold similar events in the future.
