E³ Consulting – 18th anniversary

We are delighted to celebrate our 18th anniversary of starting the business.

18th anniversary

Given the challenges that we have all faced in the last year and experienced the significantly accelerated fast pace of technological, digital, financial and human capital change; for the majority of us, it is time to reflect and take stock of life, both personal and work wise.

Although, we are all still facing uncertain and further unprecedented times, there are now at least some rays of light and hope. At a time of such adversity, there are equally countless opportunities for further innovation, adaptation and efficiency gains with improved processes and working smarter to ensure that technology best serves the objectives and outcomes of any business. Some of us have the choice as to the degree of change that we can commit to as we ‘evaluate, evolve and enhance’ our situation and reset, how we operate both in business and personally and move forward to “build back better” throughout 2021 and beyond.

Many of us have been touched directly by grief and stressful experiences and challenges. There has been so many significant acts of tenacity and bravery, by so many unseen and unsung heroes, across the UK and globally. The heroic charity efforts of Colonel Sir Tom Moore, his life story, stoicism and sense of humour, will remain in many of our minds for a long time to come. Additionally, with the sad passing away of HRH Prince Philip who had been a constant bedrock for the royal family, nation and the commonwealth for so long. Prince Philip’s characteristics included the strength of loyalty, a sense of humour, resilience, humility, curiosity, creativity, being forward thinking and personable and authentic, with people he met. These are indeed traits that all modern businesses need now more than ever. Overall, the biggest inspiration for most of us has been the actions of all the volunteers and front-line staff, doctors, nurses, cleaners, carers, all forces personnel and school teachers, who have quietly got on with their jobs, doing their best at all times. There is for many of us, a strong realisation of the importance of fellowship and a having a true sense of belonging and being in a community.

We would like to thank all of our clients, professional contacts, suppliers, our friends and associates, for their custom, loyalty and support. It has been very gratefully appreciated. We feel passionately more than ever now, about the importance of the personal touch and having collaborative long-term relationships with our suppliers, clients their advisers and the wider business community with whom we regularly engage with and support. “In many ways the enormity of the last year is just about beginning to sink in. It has highlighted to me, how significantly all of our individual ecosystems are so interrelated and how fragile the world actually is. Further, I think that by living by our values day to day, as best we can and by each of us taking responsibility (not just business) and acting with nurture and care for all, then there is hope for the future.” Nicky Oliver, Co-founder and Director of E3 Consulting.

2021 is E3 Consulting’s 18th anniversary year and we hope to be able to raise a glass together at some point to celebrate and mark this milestone and look forward to many more!
