Armed Forces Covenant
E³ Consulting has signed the Armed Forces Covenant
The Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) is a promise by the nation that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, should be treated fairly and should not face disadvantages when seeking to access public or private goods and services in the UK.
E³ Consulting’s pledge - “We, the undersigned, commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.”
By signing the AFC, an organisation demonstrates its intention to support the Armed Forces community and provides the signatory with the opportunity to be recognised by the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) award. An ERS award shows that the recipient is delivering tangible support for the Armed Forces community.
E³ Consulting has endeavoured to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant within our business dealings, which are:
- no member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen
- in some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate, especially for the injured or bereaved.
“We see this step as an important demonstration of our support and commitment to this community. It also extends of our involvement as an SME Supporter to community interest company (CIC) Building People - that works to widen access to jobs within the Built Environment - both from veterans and other under-represented groups” said Director, Nicky Oliver.
