This privately owned, newly-built boutique hotel (4 star plus) boasts superb conference and meeting facilities as well as a full service restaurant and luxury spa. The three-storey hotel complex comprises 29 rooms, split into 17 state rooms and 12 apartments / suites.


E3 Consulting was appointed to optimise the property tax relief within this major new project. We undertook a site survey and reviewed the detailed ground investigation surveys, contract breakdowns and final accounts for the principal contractors and sub-contractors. 


Expenditure qualifying for capital allowances included:

  • Plant & Machinery Allowances of circa £3.22m
  • Enhanced Capital Allowances of £18,000
  • Land Remediation Tax Relief in excess of £170,000
  • Hotel Allowances in excess of £3m.
