E³ Consulting Conferences 2024

E³ Consulting regularly host property tax seminars and webinars throughout the year.  As well as speaking at numerous previous conferences hosted by third parties, including, to name a few, Royal Institution of Chatered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT) and Property Care Association.

Recently we hosted successful seminars on the South Coast in late 2022 and 2023, and hosted webinars that covered attendees from Scotland through the Southern Counties.

On the back of these successes, we are looking to arrange some further conferences throughout 2024 on the opportunities and risks across our property tax services.

What will be covered?

Our previous events have included topics across our property tax service lines including Capital Allowances, Land Remediation Tax Relief, Repairs & Maintenance, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and VAT.

We are always sure to keep our events topical with up to date news and legislation affecting our clients and their project teams.  2022 and 2023 were bumper years for Chancellors, let alone the number of property tax issues arising from this.  We hope 2024 will be somewhat more of a steadied ship, however we are sure to see at least one Budget Statement that may bring about some new legislation or changes to the existing.

2023 brought about the expected repeal of the 130% Super-deduction and 50% Special Rate Allowance in Capital Allowances and change of the Corporation Tax main rate and reintroduction of small profits rates, both in April; with the former replaced by 100% Full Expensing.  Furthermore the Levelling Up and Regeneration Act put into place the required legislation for changes to the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).

Property investors, commercial and corporate property professionals, owner-occupiers, business owners, developers, chartered surveyors, managing/finance/tax directors, funders, commercial property agents and professionals working alongside clients such as solicitors, accountants, tax advisors, planners and architects.

Our property tax events are aimed across the board at all of those who may be involved in projects where property tax could be an issue (or opportunity!).  However, we do tailor our offering where necessary to explain the relevant legislation with the relevant examples and also host specifically tailored events.
