Signatory to the RICS Inclusive Employer Quality Mark
E3 Consulting has a strong ethos and culture of promoting inclusivity, diversity and ‘true’ collaborative engagement across all functions of the business.
Promoting Inclusivity, Diversity and Collaborative Engagement
E3 Consulting has a strong ethos and culture of promoting inclusivity, diversity and ‘true’ collaborative engagement across all functions of the business. We actively recognise that everything we do has a positive team orientation. We are continually updating our approach and processes with regard to recruitment, induction, learning & development and staff retention; in order to maintain staff, who are continually engaged always growing and have an outward and practical attitude and mind-set. This supports us in ensuring productivity is maximised and that there is a high level of consistency in the work that we do.
We support our staff with their continuing professional development in order to cultivate friendly, grounded and outward-focused ambassadors. This includes encouraging all staff to be ‘learning on the job’ out of the office by active involvement in networking groups, such as the RICS, Southampton & Bournemouth Property Associations & Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. We support staff to sit on committees (e.g. Ian Barwick, Property Tax Surveyor who sits on the committee of the Southampton Property Association). Our staff also actively participate in external mentoring schemes at a number of universities, including Reading, Southampton and Solent.
RICS Quality Mark
E3 Consulting is proud to become a signatory to the RICS Inclusive Employer Quality Mark. The aim of the Quality Mark is to drive behaviour changes with the RICS membership by encouraging all firms, small, medium and large, to commit to being continually proactive as employers with both employment policies and practice. The key aim is for businesses such as E3 to have inclusivity and diversity at the heart of what we do.
The quality mark is an industry standard that encourages the sharing of best practice and recognises and promotes the work of firms, whatever their size, that are striving towards creating an inclusive and skilled workforce. It recognises those employers who put diversity and inclusivity at the heart of their employment and business strategy.
As holders of the Quality Mark, E3 Consulting is committed to improving inclusivity according to the six principles of:
- Leadership and vision
- Recruitment
- Staff development
- Staff retention
- Staff engagement
- Continuous improvement
“It is positive to see that the RICS is recognising the need to proactively drive positive change at all levels within the surveying profession. We are pleased to be a signatory to the RICS Quality Mark, which will support us in benchmarking our processes and further continuing to improve and widen our own approach to inclusivity in the workplace.
E3 Consulting prides itself on its commitment to high quality recruitment, training and retention. As a niche SME, our collaborative and holistic approach and mind-set is central to the ongoing success of the business; there is always an opportunity for continuous improvement. Putting diversity at the heart of this ensures we can draw upon the very best talent available whilst continuing to deliver a market leading service to our clients.” – Nicky Oliver, Director
